Benevolent Protective Order of Elks Richmond (Lodge 45) To inculcate the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to recognize a belief in God; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its Members; to quicken the spirit of American patriotism; to cultivate good fellowship; to perpetuate itself as a fraternal organization, and to provide for its government, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America will serve the people and communities through benevolent programs, demonstrating that Elks Care and Elks Share.
Civitan Greater Richmond  Civitan is a worldwide, all volunteer, non-profit, service organization where men and women have an organized way of approaching local community problems through service and fund raising. We emphasize serving people with mental and physical disabilities, youth, senior citizens and the community.
Concerned Black Men of Richmond Concerned Black Men (CBM) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing positive male role models and mentors to youth, primarily black youth.
Fan Woman's Club
The mission of the FWC shall be to promote the cultural, intellectual, and social interests of the members, to beautify the Fan District, to encourage Fan residents in its continued restoration, and to provide encouragement and support to those other non-profit Fan entities critical to the development of a viable Fan community. The Club shall cooperate with the Fan District Association of Richmond and other similar organizations as may be appropriate.
The Grand Lodge of Virginia Freemasonry is the world's oldest and largest fraternal organization. It is open to men of 18 years old or older of any color, any religion, nationality or social standing, the only requirement is a belief in a Supreme Being. Its body of knowledge and system of ethics is based on the belief that each man has a responsibility to improve himself while being devoted to his family, faith, country, and fraternity. Junior League of Richmond (JLR) The Junior League of Richmond, VA. is an organization of women trained for effective leadership in community activities and dedicated to the belief that volunteer service is an essential part of responsible citizenship. The Junior League of Richmond has more than 1,300 Active and Sustainer members. Regular volunteer service is required of our over 450 active members, who give approximately 30,000 volunteer hours annually.

Knights of Columbus (Virginia State) The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal benefit society that was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Lions of Virginia | District 24B For more than eighty years, Lions Clubs around the world have been recognized for their service to the visually impaired and hearing impaired. The majority of the world's eye banks have been established by and are currently supported by Lions Clubs, as are hundreds of clinics, hospitals and eye research centers.
Optimist International (District 16) Meeting the needs of young people in communities worldwide, Optimist Clubs have been "Bringing Out the Best in Kids" since 1919. Optimist Clubs conduct positive service projects aimed at providing a helping hand to youth.
Order of the Eastern Star

The stated purposes of the organization are: Charitable, Educational, Fraternal and Scientific; but there is much more to it than that. Dr. Rob Morris, the Poet Laureate of Masonry, founded the Order using beautiful and inspiring biblical examples of heroic conduct and moral values. These portray the noble principles which should adorn the personal lives of Eastern Star members.

Ruritan Virginia Association Ruritan's purpose is to create a better understanding among people and through volunteer community service, make America's communities better places in which to live and work. Sertoma Club (Richmond on the James) SERTOMA. A curious word until three very important words come together in unison: SERvice TO MAnkind. Sertoma’s primary service project is assisting the more than 50 million people with speech, hearing and language disorders. Sertoma also sponsors community projects to promote freedom and democracy, to assist youth and to benefit a variety of other local community needs, as identified by the individual clubs.
Shriners (AVVA) Shriners, or Shrine Masons, belong to the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine for North America (A.A.O.N.M.S.). The Shrine is best known for its colorful parades, its distinctive red fez, and its official philanthropy, Shriners Hospitals for Children, which is often called "the heart and soul of the Shrine."
The United States Junior Chamber (Jaycees) The United States Junior Chamber (Jaycees) gives young people between the ages of 18 and 40 the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections.
